The PLANET GSD-1008HP is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch with 10 ports, including eight 10/100/1000T PoE+ ports delivering up to 32 W per port and a total PoE budget of 120 W, plus two Gigabit uplink ports. Housed in a compact metal desktop-size enclosure, the switch is intended for small-scale networks that require centralized PoE power distribution for HD IP surveillance, Wi‑Fi access points and IP phones.

Advantages

The GSD-1008HP combines data switching and PoE power feeding in one unit, reducing cable and electrical outlet requirements. How to use

Place the GSD-1008HP on a stable surface or mount it according to site requirements. Connect uplink ports to your core switch or router using Cat5e/Cat6 cables and connect powered devices (IP cameras, access points, IP phones) to the PoE ports. Use the DIP switch to select the desired operation mode: Standard for normal PoE+ switching, VLAN to isolate ports and limit multicast/broadcast impact, or Extend to enable 250 m reach at 10 Mbps with 20 W PoE output.
