The PLANET GST-805A is a compact Gigabit media converter designed for FTTX and general fiber-to-copper connectivity. It converts between 10/100/1000Base-T (RJ-45) and 1000Base-SX/LX interfaces using an SFP fiber optic connector, providing stable Gigabit performance and extended transmission distances for various fiber applications. The unit supports standalone operation via a 5V DC adapter or can be installed as a slide-in module in PLANET 19-inch managed 16-slot media converter chassis (MC-1610MR / MC-1610MR48).
