The PLANET GT-805A-PD is a compact Gigabit PoE PD media converter that converts 10/100/1000BASE-T to 100/1000BASE-X SFP fiber. It supports IEEE 802.3af/at/bt in-line power input (48–54 V DC) so it can be powered directly from compatible PoE PSE equipment, and also offers an optional 5 V DC input for alternative deployment. The device provides stable Gigabit performance with SFP transceivers for extended fiber links and complies with IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3ab/802.3z standards. Its small footprint and plug-and-play operation make it suitable for standalone use or as a slide-in module for PLANET 19-inch media converter chassis.

Advantages
