PLANET HPOE-460 is a 4-port Gigabit Power over Ethernet injector supporting both IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at (High Power) standards. The device injects data and up to 30 W of power per port over a single CAT5/5e/6 cable, enabling deployment of higher-power network powered devices such as PTZ/speed dome IP cameras, multi-channel wireless access points and other SOHO/SMB equipment where local power outlets may be limited.

How to use

Mount the HPOE-460 in a convenient location and connect the network uplink or switch to the data input RJ-45 ports. Connect the CAT5/5e/6 cables from the device’s PoE (Data and Power) output ports to the powered devices (PDs). Ensure the total power consumption of connected PDs does not exceed the unit’s 120 W budget. Power the injector from an appropriate 52 V DC source; the unit will deliver both power and data over the same Ethernet cable to each connected PD.
