PLANET IGS-12040MT is a fully-managed L2+ Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for industrial networks. It includes 8 10/100/1000BASE-T copper ports, 4 dual-speed 100/1000BASE-X SFP slots, a console port and redundant power input in an IP30 aluminum case. The switch supports IPv4/IPv6 management, Layer 3 static routing, comprehensive L2/L4 functions and can operate in harsh environments from -40 to 75 °C. DIN-rail or wall mounting and SFP fiber extension options make it suitable for constrained or distributed installations.

Advantages

The IGS-12040MT provides enhanced cybersecurity with SSHv2, TLS and SSL for secure management, plus event alerting via SMTP/SNMP traps and a Fault Alarm to speed up fault identification. It supports rapid-recovery redundant ring protocols (G.8032 ERPS, MSTP) and redundant power for high availability.
