PLANET IGS-6325-4UP2X is an industrial-grade, Layer 3 managed PoE++ Ethernet switch designed for harsh environments. It provides four 2.5GBASE-T copper ports with 802.3bt PoE++ (each port up to 95 W) and two 10GBASE-X SFP+ fiber ports in an IP30 metal housing. The switch supports a wide operating temperature range (-40 to 75 °C) and offers rich Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, Modbus TCP for factory integration, ONVIF support for IP surveillance, and multiple redundancy and recovery mechanisms for critical networks.

How to use

Install the IGS-6325-4UP2X on a DIN-rail or suitable surface and connect power to the redundant power inputs. Use Cat5e/6 cables to connect PoE devices to the 2.5G ports and SFP+ modules for 10 Gbps uplinks. Configure network settings, VLANs, PoE schedules and PoE output modes through the Web GUI, console, or SNMPv3. For IP camera environments, use the ONVIF discovery in the web interface to add and position cameras on uploaded floor plans and enable intelligent alive check to automatically reboot non-responsive PDs.

Usage recommendations

Choose the appropriate PoE output mode based on your PD requirements (802.3bt, UPOE, end-/mid-span or force mode). Enable PoE scheduling and scheduled power recycling to reduce energy use and to periodically reboot cameras or APs to prevent buffer-overflow crashes. For industrial automation, enable Modbus TCP and SNMPv3 monitoring and deploy redundant ring or MSTP configurations for fast recovery in critical networks.
