The PLANET IPOE-162 is a single-port mid-span Gigabit Ethernet Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector designed to deliver up to 30 W (IEEE 802.3at) or 15.4 W (IEEE 802.3af) to a powered device over a single Cat5/5e/6 cable. It provides simultaneous data and power transmission over one RJ-45 cable to PoE PDs or PoE splitters, with a maximum link distance of 100 meters. The unit accepts a wide DC input range (12–48 V) and boosts the voltage to 56 V DC for PoE output, making it suitable for industrial and transportation applications where standard power supplies are required.

How to use

Connect the injector's uplink RJ-45 port to your network switch or router and connect the PoE-enabled device to the injector's downlink RJ-45 port. Supply the IPOE-162 with an appropriate 12–48 V DC source; the device will boost the input to 56 V DC for PoE output. Ensure the total power requirements of the connected PD do not exceed the supported PoE class (30 W for 802.3at, 15.4 W for 802.3af). Keep cable length within 100 meters between injector and powered device or PoE splitter.
