The PLANET IPOE-162 is a single-port, mid-span Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector that delivers up to 30 W over standard Cat5/5e/6 cables. Designed for higher-power network devices, it supports IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) and is backward compatible with IEEE 802.3af. The unit accepts wide-range DC input (12–48 V) and boosts to 56 V DC to feed remote powered devices such as PTZ network cameras, multi-channel wireless access points, and color touch-screen VoIP phones. The compact IP30 metal housing supports DIN-rail or wall mounting and the device operates reliably in industrial environments from -40 to 75 °C.

Connect a suitable DC power source (12–48 V) to the IPOE-162 power input, then link the injector's RJ-45 data/power port to the powered device or to a compatible PoE splitter using Cat5/5e/6 cable.
