The PLANET POE-171S Gigabit ultra Power over Ethernet splitter separates IEEE 802.3at/af PoE data and DC power delivered over a single Cat5e/6 cable, providing selectable DC outputs (12V, 19V or 24V) and supporting link distances up to 100 meters. Compact and blue, the POE-171S accepts 52–56 V input and includes LED indicators for power status, making it suitable for connecting non‑PoE devices to a PoE network while removing the need for nearby AC outlets.

Advantages

How to use

Connect a compliant IEEE 802.3at/af PoE injector (for example PLANET POE-171) to the POE-171S using a Cat5e/6 RJ-45 cable. The POE-171S will separate the Ethernet data and DC power; select the required output voltage (12V, 19V or 24V) and connect the device-specific DC plug to the powered equipment. Ensure LED indicators show proper power status before powering the end device. Maintain cable runs up to 100 meters from the injector to the splitter.
