The PLANET POE2400G is a rack-mountable managed PoE injector hub designed to upgrade existing networks to IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet Plus without replacing the current Ethernet switch. The unit provides a total PoE budget of 440 watts and offers 24 Gigabit Ethernet data-input ports and 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE output ports (48 RJ45 ports in total on the front panel). Each PoE output port can deliver up to 36 W over Cat.5/5e/6 UTP cables, allowing simultaneous transmission of data and power to 802.3at/af powered devices. The POE2400G centralizes power supply, simplifies installation and power management of remote network devices, and supports quick PoE deployment for small and enterprise networks.

How to use

Install the POE2400G between your existing Ethernet switch (uplink) and the powered devices. Connect the lower 24 ports to the switch as data inputs and the upper 24 ports to the PDs for PoE output. Use Cat.5/5e/6 UTP cables to carry both data and power to 802.3at/af devices.
