How to use

Install the POE-E301 between a power source equipment (PSE) such as an 802.3bt PoE++ switch and a powered device (PD). Connect the PSE to the PoE IN port; connect the PD to the PoE OUT port. For longer distances, place additional POE-E301 units in-line to daisy-chain and extend the link up to the required length (maximum 400 m). The device is plug-and-play and injects DC power over the same Cat. cable used for data without additional configuration.

Usage recommendations

Use quality Cat.5e or Cat.6 UTP cable and confirm the PSE can supply sufficient PoE++ power when planning long-distance or multi-segment deployments. Test each segment after installation and avoid exceeding the specified maximum distance per chain to ensure stable data and power delivery.
