Managed Network Switch PLANET UPOE-800G
The PLANET UPOE-800G is a managed Gigabit Ethernet Ultra PoE injector hub designed to upgrade existing network infrastructure to an Ultra Power over Ethernet system without replacing the current Ethernet switch. It provides centralized power and data delivery with 8 Gigabit PoE output ports and an overall PoE budget of 400 W, allowing each port to deliver up to 60 W over standard Cat5/5e/6 cables. The 17-port front panel layout separates 8 data input ports and 8 PoE (data + power) output ports, simplifying integration between a regular switch and powered devices while preserving network performance.
The UPOE-800G offers high-density, rack-mountable design with managed PoE functions accessible via a web user interface for remote control. It supports IEEE 802.3at/af standards and 4-pair 60 W Ultra PoE delivery, reducing the need for local power outlets and additional electrical wiring. Built-in features include PD alive check, PoE scheduling, power usage monitoring, over-temperature protection and selectable PoE output modes, which together enable centralized power management, energy saving and increased operational reliability.
Install the UPOE-800G between an existing Ethernet switch and your powered devices. Connect the switch to the lower-stack data input RJ45 ports and connect the PDs to the upper-stack PoE output ports; both data and power will be carried over the same Cat5/5e/6 cables. Use the web management interface to configure PoE output modes (60 W 4-pair UPOE, 30 W end-span or 30 W mid-span), set PoE schedules, enable PD alive checks and monitor real-time power usage. Ensure the total PoE consumption does not exceed the 400 W budget and allocate power by priority if needed.
The UPOE-800G is intended for professional network environments; use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables for reliable 60 W delivery, plan PoE budget allocation for multiple high-power devices, enable PoE scheduling to reduce energy consumption during non-business hours, and monitor PD status via the web GUI to automate power recycling for unresponsive devices.
