The PLANET VC-234G is a Gigabit Ethernet-over-VDSL2 network bridge that enables high-speed data transmission over existing telephone copper wires. It combines VDSL2 and Gigabit Ethernet technologies to extend Ethernet networks without rewiring, offering symmetric rates up to 190/190 Mbps over short copper loops and long-reach connectivity up to 1.4 km at reduced speeds. The device includes four RJ45 Ethernet ports, two RJ11 phone jacks (one for VDSL and one for POTS) and supports vectoring to reduce crosstalk when used with vectoring-enabled DSLAMs.
