The PLANET VF-101G-KIT is a video-over-fiber media converter kit designed to extend analog AHD/CVI/TVI/CVBS camera signals and RS485 data over a single fiber-optic link up to 20,000 meters. The kit contains a 1-channel Video Transmitter (VF-101G-T) and a 1-channel Video Receiver (VF-101G-R) in compact housings. It supports uncompressed digital video transmission with intelligent encoding/decoding to preserve image quality and is suitable for remote surveillance, traffic monitoring and other distributed video applications. The units are available with ST fiber connectors and can operate as standalone devices or be powered when slid into compatible PLANET media converter chassis (MC-700, MC-1500, MC-1500R).

Install the transmitter near the analog camera and connect the camera video output to the VF-101G-T video input. Connect the reverse RS485 data lines if bidirectional control is required.
