The PLANET XT-715A is a compact 10G media converter that converts 10GBASE-T copper connections to 10GBASE-X fiber via an SFP+ slot. Compliant with IEEE 802.3bz/an/ae standards, it provides a single auto-negotiation 2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T RJ45 copper port and one 10GBASE-X SFP+ slot for use with 10GBASE-SR or 10GBASE-LR transceivers. The device supports multimode and single-mode fiber links to extend network reach from 300 meters on multimode fiber up to 2/10/20/40/60/70/80 kilometers on single-mode fiber.
