Posca PC-1MR Ultra Fine water-based paint marker in violet is a fine-tip marker designed for precise, detailed work. It uses a water-based pigment ink that is non-toxic, lightfast and provides vibrant opaque colour on many surfaces. The marker writes smoothly on paper and card with permanent, bleed-proof results, and can be made permanent on other materials with appropriate post-treatments.

How to use

Shake the marker well with the cap on to mix the pigment. Prime the tip by pressing down several times on scrap material until ink flows. Apply with light, steady pressure for fine lines and controlled strokes. For best results on paper and card, allow ink to dry; on other surfaces use recommended post-treatments to fix the ink.

Usage recommendations

To make the colour permanent on non-porous surfaces follow the manufacturer’s treatments: bake glass or porcelain at 160°C for 45 minutes then varnish; bake terracotta at 220°C for 45 minutes then varnish; iron textiles on the reverse side; spray wood, metal and plastic with clear varnish. Test on a small area first.
