USB hub PREMIUMCORD ku2hub4ws — 4-port USB 2.0, powered
PREMIUMCORD ku2hub4ws is a compact 4-port USB 2.0 hub that expands one USB port into four downstream connections. The hub supports USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices with data transfer rates of 1.5 Mbps, 12 Mbps and 480 Mbps. It connects to the host via an integrated ~5 cm USB-A male cable and features one LED status indicator. The device is bus-powered but also available with an external power supply option to provide stable current for multiple or power-hungry peripherals.
The hub provides four downstream USB ports in a small, plug-and-play enclosure with hot-plug support, enabling connection and disconnection without restarting the computer. Compatibility with USB 1.1 and 2.0 devices ensures broad device support, and the integrated cable plus LED status indicator simplifies installation and basic troubleshooting.
Connect the hub's integrated USB-A cable to a free USB port on your computer. Once connected, the operating system should recognize the hub and attached devices automatically. Plug peripherals into any of the four downstream ports. If devices require more power than the host port can supply, connect the optional external power supply (if included) before attaching power-hungry peripherals.
Use the hub on a stable surface and avoid overloading a single host USB port with multiple high-current devices simultaneously. For reliable operation with external hard drives or other power-demanding peripherals, use the external power supply when available.
