Patch cable PREMIUMCORD CAT6 UTP RJ45–RJ45, 7 m, purple
PREMIUMCORD CAT6 UTP patch cable with RJ45 connectors on both ends is a 7 m unshielded twisted-pair cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet and structured cabling. The cable supports reliable data transmission between switches, routers, patch panels and wall sockets in home, office and small data-center environments. Its purple jacket provides clear visual identification in cable runs.
The unshielded CAT6 construction offers up to 250 MHz bandwidth and is suitable for 1 Gbps Ethernet links over typical horizontal distances. Molded RJ45 connectors on both ends ensure secure plug-in connections and reduce connector strain. The 7 m length balances reach and neat cable management in rack or desk setups, while the purple color helps distinguish this run from other network or power lines.
This UTP cable does not include additional shielding and therefore is not intended for use in environments with high electromagnetic interference where STP/FTP cable types are recommended. It is also not intended for runs exceeding typical horizontal cabling limits for guaranteed Gigabit performance; for longer permanent links, consider in-wall rated or higher-category cabling.
Plug one RJ45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall socket. Ensure connectors fully seat with the clip engaged. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp edges; maintain gentle curves and secure with Velcro straps or cable ties to prevent strain on connectors. For patch-panel installations, orient the cable so the molded boot clears adjacent ports for easy removal.
For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines for long distances, keep bend radius above manufacturer recommendations, and use strain relief to protect the RJ45 connectors. Test the link with a network cable tester after installation to confirm continuity and performance.
