Procab networking cable Cat6a U/UTP, RJ-45–RJ-45, 2 m, red
Procab networking cable Cat6a U/UTP, RJ-45–RJ-45, 2 m, red is an ultra-slim Cat6a patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet links. With an outer diameter of just 3.2 mm and a flexible LSHF jacket, this 2 m cable provides Cat6a performance up to 500 MHz, gold-plated RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a snagless compact design for tidy rack and workspace cabling. The red jacket improves visual identification when organising multiple runs in offices, studios or AV installations.
The slim Ø 3.2 mm construction reduces cable bulk and improves airflow in rack and patch panel applications while saving installation space. Tested for PoE (IEEE 802.3af) compatibility, the cable supports power-over-Ethernet devices without additional adapters. Gold-plated contacts and a compact, snagless connector design ensure reliable contact and easier insertion/removal in dense patching environments. The LSHF jacket provides a low-smoke, halogen-free outer layer suitable for many indoor installations.
Insert one RJ-45 connector into the network port of a switch, router, patch panel or device and the other into the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure the connectors are fully seated until they click to confirm a secure connection. Route the cable along cable trays, under desks or along patch panels, taking advantage of the ultra-slim diameter to reduce clutter and preserve airflow in racks. For PoE devices, verify that the supplying switch or injector meets the device power requirements.
For best performance, avoid tight sharp bends and prolonged exposure to temperatures outside the specified installation range. Use the red jacket to mark and separate critical runs and combine with colour-coded patching schemes to simplify maintenance. In dense rack installations, group ultra-slim cables to preserve airflow and avoid stacking heavy cables on top of each other.
