Networking cable Procab CSD570Y/1 Cat7 U/FTP (STP) 1 m RJ-45 yellow
Procab CSD570Y/1 Cat7 U/FTP (STP) 1 m RJ-45 yellow is an ultra-slim, shielded networking cable designed for high-speed LAN and digital AV networks. The cable complies with Cat7 performance up to 600 MHz and uses U/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs with overall drain) to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends feature gold-plated RJ-45 straight male connectors in a compact, snagless design. The 1 m length and yellow LSHF jacket provide visible identification in patch panels and routed installations while the 4.0 mm outer diameter preserves rack space and airflow.
The ultra-slim construction (Ø 4.0 mm) reduces cable bulk and improves airflow in racks, helping maintain neat patching and easier cable management. U/FTP shielding minimizes crosstalk and external interference for more reliable data transmission in mixed equipment environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance. The LSHF (low smoke halogen-free) jacket and flexible smooth outer sheath make routing in confined spaces simpler while offering visible colour coding for quick identification.
Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, patch panel or networked equipment) and the other end to the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages to secure the connection. When routing multiple cables in racks or enclosures, follow standard cable management practices to avoid sharp bends and excessive strain; maintain minimum bend radius suitable for slim cables and avoid tight kinks. The cable is ready for plug-and-play use in Ethernet networks and supports PoE devices within its tested class.
For best performance, avoid running the cable in close parallel alongside high-power electrical lines and maintain separation from potential EMI sources. Use the yellow jacket for visual identification in patch panels and group similar functions by colour. When installing in dense rack environments, route cables to preserve airflow and prevent compression; replace any cable showing visible damage or compromised shielding.
