Paint Brush Profix professional English 4" (102x15mm) model 43069
Profix professional English 4" (102x15 mm) paint brush model 43069 is designed for precise cutting-in, edging and finishing as well as for efficient coverage of larger surfaces. The brush combines a wide 102 mm head with a 15 mm thick blend of synthetic and natural bristles to provide controlled paint hold and release. The handle is shaped to support both delicate trimming work and steady strokes across walls, woodwork and trim using paints and varnishes.
The brush head’s combination of synthetic and natural fibers balances paint absorption and smooth release to minimise drips and improve surface finish. Its 102 mm width reduces the number of passes required for larger areas while the 15 mm pile thickness maintains even coverage. The handle ergonomics support accuracy for cutting-in and edging while remaining comfortable for extended use. The construction is intended to provide consistent performance with water- and solvent-based paints and varnishes.
Before use, remove any protective packaging and, for new brushes, rinse briefly in the intended solvent (water for water-based paints, brush cleaner or solvent for solvent-based systems) and shake out excess. Load the brush by dipping the lower third to half of the bristles into paint, then tap off excess against the can rim. For cutting-in, use steady, controlled strokes keeping the brush angled to the surface. For larger areas, use long even strokes and maintain a wet edge to avoid lap marks. After finishing, clean according to the paint type and store the brush flat or hanging to preserve the bristle shape.
Use the brush with the recommended paint type and avoid overloading the head to reduce dripping. Store in a dry place and clean promptly after each use to prolong bristle life and maintain consistent performance.
