The Proline Tools 41110 general purpose paint brush is a compact brush designed for precise work with water-based paints. With a 63 mm length and a mix of 50% natural hair and OREL synthetic bristles, it provides controlled paint pickup and even release for small to medium detail tasks. The wooden, varnished handle offers a balanced grip for steady strokes during interior and exterior painting jobs where water-based coatings are used.
The combination of natural hair and OREL synthetic bristles combines the absorption qualities of natural fibers with the resilience of synthetics, resulting in improved paint retention and smoother application. The varnished wooden handle is durable and comfortable to hold, reducing hand fatigue during extended use. Its compact size and bristle blend make the brush suitable for edges, trim, touch-ups and detailed work with water-based paints.
Before use, remove any protective packaging and lightly dampen the bristles if recommended by the paint manufacturer to improve paint absorption. Load the brush by dipping the bristles into the water-based paint to about one third of their length and wipe excess against the container rim to avoid drips. Apply paint with steady, even strokes following the surface grain or edge you are working on. Rinse the brush thoroughly with water after each use and reshape the bristles before drying to maintain performance and prolong the brush life.
Store the brush dry and flat or hanging by the handle to preserve bristle shape. For best results with water-based paints, clean promptly after use and avoid prolonged soaking of the wooden handle.
