PULSAR POE Switch SFG64 4-port with 2 SFP uplinks
PULSAR POE Switch SFG64 4-port with 2 SFP uplinks
PULSAR POE Switch SFG64 4-port with 2 SFP uplinks is a compact managed Ethernet switch designed for small networks and IP surveillance deployments. It integrates four RJ45 LAN ports with Power over Ethernet capability and two SFP fiber uplinks, enabling both data and power delivery to connected devices while supporting fiber connections for extended-distance links. The device is intended to simplify installations by reducing the need for separate power supplies for cameras, access points and VoIP phones while offering a reliable network uplink over fiber.
The switch provides centralized PoE power distribution across four Ethernet ports, allowing compatible devices to receive power and data over a single cable. Two SFP uplink ports enable flexible network design by supporting fiber modules for long-distance connections and enhanced immunity to electromagnetic interference. The compact form factor and straightforward port layout make the unit suitable for rack or wall mounting in constrained spaces, and basic management features facilitate network segmentation and device connectivity control.
Install the switch in a suitable indoor location with adequate ventilation and secure mounting if required. Insert compatible SFP modules into the uplink slots when fiber connections are needed and connect fiber patch cables to the distant network endpoint. Connect PoE-capable devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points or VoIP phones to the RJ45 ports using Cat5e or higher Ethernet cables; the switch will supply power and data over the same cable where supported. Connect the switch to a network uplink or router via one of the SFP modules or an appropriate copper uplink, and configure basic settings through the switch management interface as necessary for VLANs, link aggregation or port control.
Use high-quality Ethernet cables (Cat5e or better) for reliable PoE delivery, and select SFP modules that match the fiber type and distance requirements of your installation. Verify total PoE power budget and per-port power limits before connecting multiple high-power devices to ensure adequate power distribution. Keep firmware updated and isolate surveillance or voice traffic with VLANs for improved performance and security.
