SFP+ module PULSAR GBIC-202 Multi-Mode 10Gbps 2xLC, reach up to 300 m
PULSAR GBIC-202 is an SFP+ optical transceiver module designed for multi-mode fiber networks. It supports a 10Gbps data rate and uses two LC connectors, providing an interoperable, hot-pluggable interface for switches, routers and servers. The module is intended for short-range high-speed links with a specified maximum reach of up to 300 meters over multi-mode fiber, and it follows standard SFP+ form-factor interfaces to simplify installation and replacement in data center and enterprise network equipment.
The PULSAR GBIC-202 delivers 10Gbps throughput over multi-mode fiber with low-power operation and a compact SFP+ form factor. Dual LC ports enable simple duplex fiber connections while the hot-pluggable design reduces downtime during upgrades or replacements. Compliance with common SFP+ mechanical interfaces promotes compatibility across a wide range of switches, routers and servers used in data centers and network closets.
Install the PULSAR GBIC-202 by inserting the SFP+ module into a compatible SFP+ port on a switch, router or server until it seats securely. Connect duplex multi-mode LC patch cords to the module and to the corresponding network device, observing correct transmit/receive orientation. The module is designed for hot-pluggable use, so it can be inserted or removed while equipment is powered, but follow your equipment manufacturer's guidance for safe handling. After installation, verify link status and speed in the host device management interface and test connectivity across the intended link distance (up to 300 m on suitable MMF).
Use OM3/OM4 multi-mode fiber where possible to ensure reliable 10Gbps performance up to the specified reach, maintain proper fiber cleanliness for LC connectors, and consult switch or server vendor documentation for any compatibility or configuration settings. Observe electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions when handling the module and store unused modules with dust caps installed.
