Rack shelf PULSAR RAPD2-G 2U universal front-mounted server shelf
Rack shelf PULSAR RAPD2-G 2U universal front-mounted server shelf
PULSAR RAPD2-G is a 2U front-mounted universal rack shelf designed for standard 19-inch racks. The metal shelf provides a stable platform for servers, network equipment and accessories that do not require full 19" rack mounting. It enables organized placement of devices, improved cable routing and straightforward access for maintenance in server rooms and telecommunication cabinets.
The front-mounted design allows installation in the upper portion of a rack without occupying rear mounting points. Constructed from metal, the shelf offers rigidity and reliable load support for standalone devices and accessories. Its 2U height conserves rack space while creating a flat surface for non-rackmountable equipment. The open-front layout simplifies cable access and visual inspection.
Install the PULSAR RAPD2-G by aligning the shelf with the front rack rails at the desired 2U position and secure it using appropriate rack screws or fasteners to the rack's threaded or square holes. Place the device or accessory on the shelf ensuring even weight distribution across the platform. Route cables through the front of the rack and secure them with cable ties or organizers as needed to avoid strain on connectors. Check that the mounted equipment has sufficient ventilation clearance and that the rack doors and panels close without obstruction.
Verify rack load capacity and distribute weight evenly when placing heavy equipment on the shelf. Use suitable fasteners matching your rack's hole type and consider additional support for devices with concentrated loads. Maintain clearance for airflow and access to front connectors during installation and service.
