Switch PULSAR USF108P Ultralink 8x PoE+ ports, 2x RJ45 uplink
PULSAR USF108P Ultralink is an 8-port Fast Ethernet switch with integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE+) capability and two dedicated RJ45 uplink ports. The device supplies power to connected PoE-compatible equipment over standard Ethernet cables while forwarding 100 Mbps data on access ports. Two uplink ports allow seamless connection to the network backbone or aggregation switches without consuming PoE ports, enabling straightforward expansion of small networks and deployment of powered devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points and VoIP phones.
The switch combines PoE+ power delivery with Fast Ethernet access ports to simplify installations where devices require both power and network connectivity. Its eight PoE-enabled ports centralize power distribution and reduce the need for separate power supplies at endpoints. Two independent RJ45 uplink ports provide flexibility when linking to core switches or routers and help maintain network performance. The compact form factor and straightforward setup make it suitable for constrained spaces and basic network topologies.
Place the switch on a stable surface near a power outlet and within reach of connected devices. Connect PoE-capable devices such as IP cameras, access points or VoIP phones to the Fast Ethernet access ports using Cat5e or better cables; the switch will supply power and handle 100 Mbps data on those ports. Use the two RJ45 uplink ports to connect the switch to your router, core switch, or network aggregation point to integrate it into the larger network. Configure any required IP settings on connected devices via your network management tools; the switch itself is designed for plug-and-play operation in typical setups.
Ensure total PoE power demands of all connected devices do not exceed the switch’s available power budget. Use quality Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher) for reliable PoE delivery and 100 Mbps performance. For camera or AP deployments, position the switch centrally to minimize cable runs and consider connecting uplinks to a managed core switch for advanced traffic control and monitoring.
