Networking cable Python® Series 8063PY-200W Cat6 SF/UTP (S-FTP) White 20 m
Python® Series 8063PY-200W is a Cat6 SF/UTP (S-FTP) networking patch cable, 20 m long and finished in white. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and features gold-plated contacts to support reliable electrical contact. Designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet, this shielded cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain gigabit speeds in office, data center and home network environments.
The shielded SF/UTP (S-FTP) construction provides improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, helping to preserve signal integrity over the 20 m run. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors enhance contact durability and corrosion resistance. The cable’s Cat6 specification supports gigabit Ethernet performance and is suitable for standard structured cabling installations where reliable throughput is required.
This Cat6 SF/UTP cable is not intended for applications that require higher categories (such as Cat6A or Cat7) when future-proofing for 10 Gbps over long runs is necessary. It may also be excessive for very short runs where unshielded Cat5e or Cat6 cables would provide equivalent performance at lower cost. The white jacket is primarily aesthetic and may not be ideal where darker or color-coded cabling is preferred for identification.
Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of a switch, router or wall outlet and the other end to the target device such as a PC, server or access point. Ensure both ends are fully seated until the connector latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, kinks and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For rack or cabinet installations, allow service loops and fasten the cable with appropriate ties or Velcro to prevent strain on the connectors.
For best results, use the Python Cat6 SF/UTP cable in shielded or mixed environments where nearby electrical equipment or dense cabling could introduce interference. Maintain gentle bend radii (avoid tight loops) and secure the cable in racks or conduits to reduce mechanical stress and preserve reliable gigabit performance.
