QOLTEC InfiniBand / fibre optic model 50461 is a multimode optical patchcord designed for high-speed data transmission in server rooms, data centers and HPC environments. This duplex 50/125 μm cable with LC/UPC to LC/UPC connectors provides a 2 m link for InfiniBand-capable switches, host channel adapters and storage systems where optical transmission is required. The multimode fibre supports short-reach, low-latency connections typical for rack-to-rack and intra-rack backbones.
The cable combines multimode 50/125 µm fibre geometry with precision LC/UPC connectors to deliver consistent signal quality and low insertion loss for InfiniBand networks. Duplex construction ensures full-duplex communications and easy polarity management.
