Network cable QOLTEC 54015 — 2 m LC to LC optical cable, 9 µm core, yellow
QOLTEC 54015 is a 2 m single-mode optical network cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 9 µm core diameter. The yellow outer jacket indicates single-mode fibre and the duplex LC–LC termination provides compact, reliable connections for switches, servers and patch panels. The cable is designed for high-speed optical transmission links and is individually tested to ensure consistent performance. The sheath is LSZH (low smoke zero halogen), which reduces hazardous gas emissions in case of fire and supports safer installation in confined or public spaces.
This LC to LC optical cable supports single-mode transmission with a 9 µm core suitable for long-reach and high-bandwidth applications. The 2 m length is convenient for short patching runs in racks and networking cabinets while keeping signal integrity. The duplex LC connectors deliver a compact footprint and easy mating with standard optical transceivers and ports. LSZH outer jacket improves safety in indoor installations by limiting smoke and halogen emissions. Individual product testing provides traceable quality control for network deployments.
Unpack the LC–LC cable and inspect connectors for protective caps; remove caps before use. Align and insert the LC duplex connectors into matching LC ports on optical transceivers, switches or patch panels until they click into place. Ensure the transmit (Tx) and receive (Rx) channels are correctly crossed if required by the equipment. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and stress on the connectors; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for single-mode fibre. After installation, check link status and perform an optical power or link test if needed.
Store and handle the cable in a clean, dry environment. Do not bend the cable sharply or apply excessive tensile force. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and follow standard ESD precautions when connecting to sensitive equipment. For permanent or outdoor runs, select an appropriate rated cable; this product is intended for indoor patching and cabinet connections.
