Patch panel QOLTEC 54474 — 24 ports Cat.6 UTP patch panel
Patch panel QOLTEC 54474 — 24 ports Cat.6 UTP patch panel
QOLTEC 54474 is a 24-port Cat.6 UTP patch panel designed for structured Ethernet cabling in racks and cabinets. It provides centralized termination and straightforward cable routing for up to twenty-four unshielded twisted-pair Cat.6 cables, enabling organized port labeling and easier maintenance in office networks, server rooms and telecommunication closets.
The patch panel supports Cat.6 UTP cabling performance and offers a compact 19-inch rack form factor that fits standard network racks. Its 24-port layout reduces cable clutter by consolidating terminations in a single panel, and the standardized port arrangement simplifies patch cord management and documentation. The panel is intended to improve serviceability by making moves, adds and changes faster without altering permanent cabling.
Install the patch panel in a standard 19-inch rack at a convenient height for cabling work. Route incoming Cat.6 UTP permanent cabling to the rear termination points and terminate each conductor pair according to the color code on the panel using a suitable punch-down tool or IDC method. Label each port to match network documentation. Connect patch cords from the front RJ45 ports to switches, routers or active equipment as required. Keep cable slack and use horizontal cable managers or Velcro straps to maintain order and avoid excessive bend radii.
For reliable Cat.6 performance, use quality Cat.6 UTP cables and observe correct pair sequencing and termination technique. Avoid running data cables parallel to high-voltage power lines and maintain appropriate bend radius. Periodically verify connections and labeling during network changes to preserve organization and minimize downtime.
