QOLTEC RJ45 Pass-Through Plug CAT5e UTP Gold-Plated Contacts, pack of 10
QOLTEC RJ45 Pass-Through Plug CAT5e UTP Gold-Plated Contacts, pack of 10
QOLTEC RJ45 Pass-Through Plug CAT5e UTP Gold-Plated Contacts, pack of 10 are pass-through RJ45 connectors designed for terminating CAT5e unshielded twisted pair (UTP) network cables. Each plug features a pass-through design that lets conductors extend through the connector for fast, accurate wire sequencing and verification prior to crimping. Gold-plated contacts reduce corrosion and improve electrical contact for reliable data transmission at CAT5e performance levels. The pack of 10 provides a small quantity suitable for assembling or repairing Ethernet leads in office, home, or light commercial network installations.
The pass-through design simplifies cable preparation and ensures correct wire order, reducing termination errors and rework. Gold-plated contact surfaces offer enhanced corrosion resistance and stable signal transfer compared with non-plated contacts. These plugs are compatible with standard CAT5e UTP cable diameters and are supplied in a compact pack of 10 for convenient on-site or workshop use.
Strip the outer jacket of the CAT5e UTP cable to expose the twisted pairs, untwist pairs only as much as required for termination, and align conductors in the required wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert the wires straight through the pass-through connector until the jacket reaches the connector body and conductors are visible at the end. Use a compatible pass-through crimping tool to crimp the connector, which cuts excess wire and secures contacts. After crimping, trim any protruding conductor ends if necessary and verify continuity and correct pinout with a cable tester.
For reliable terminations, use a quality pass-through crimping tool sized for RJ45 plugs and avoid over-stripping the cable jacket. Maintain minimal untwist length to preserve pair integrity and run a continuity test on each assembled cable to confirm correct wiring and signal paths before deployment.
