UTP CAT6 patchcord cable by QOLTEC is a 100 m grey copper cable intended for wired Ethernet connections in offices, homes and small data center environments. The unshielded twisted pair (UTP) CAT6 construction provides the electrical characteristics needed for Gigabit Ethernet and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables. The reel length and flexible jacket make it suitable for horizontal cabling runs, patch panels and point-to-point links where a reliable copper connection is required.
The cable combines solid copper conductors and CAT6 specification to deliver consistent data rates up to Gigabit Ethernet, with lower crosstalk and better performance over longer runs than CAT5e. A flexible outer jacket and standard conductor gauge simplify routing through conduits and trays and allow neat termination on RJ45 connectors and patch panels. The grey color helps maintain a discreet and uniform appearance in office and rack installations.
Measure and cut the required length from the 100 m reel, then strip the outer jacket carefully to expose the twisted pairs without nicking the conductors. Arrange the pairs according to the required wiring standard (T568A or T568B) and terminate with compatible RJ45 plugs or punch down onto a patch panel or keystone jack. Test each terminated connection with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair mapping and performance before placing into service.
Route the cable away from large sources of electrical interference and avoid sharp bends or tight coils to maintain signal integrity. For installations longer than typical horizontal limits or environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider using shielded cabling or fiber optic alternatives.
