The RaidSonic IB-AC618 is an active 7‑port USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) hub in a robust aluminium enclosure that expands a single USB Type‑B host connection into seven USB Type‑A ports, including one dedicated charging port. It delivers data transfer speeds up to 5 Gbit/s (USB 3.2 Gen 1) and includes a USB 3.0 cable and a 12 V / 3 A power adapter for stable operation.

Advantages

The aluminium housing provides passive heat dissipation and a durable, scratch‑resistant surface suitable for both stationary and transport use. With seven downstream USB 3.x Type‑A ports you gain additional high‑speed connections while retaining backward compatibility with USB 2.0 devices. One port is a dedicated charging port (5 V / 2.1 A, up to 2.4 A in specific conditions) for charging smartphones, tablets and power banks. The hub supports Plug & Play and Hot Swap for easy installation and use.

How to use

Connect the included 12 V / 3 A power adapter to the hub and plug the USB 3.0 cable into the host computer's USB Type‑A or Type‑C port via an appropriate adapter if required (host must provide a USB 3.x Type‑A or accept Type‑B hub connection). Then connect devices to the hub's Type‑A ports. The hub is recognized automatically (Plug & Play). Use the dedicated charging port to charge mobile devices; note charging current limits described below.
