Docking Station ICY BOX IB-DK2252AC
The ICY BOX IB-DK2252AC is a wired USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C docking station that expands a notebook’s connectivity while supplying power via AC. It offers multiple USB Type-A ports, two HDMI outputs for 4K Ultra HD video, a Gigabit Ethernet port and support for data transfer up to 5 Gbit/s. The upright design on a dedicated stand improves stability during cable connection and helps passive cooling through ventilated surfaces.
The dock provides a wide selection of ports in a compact upright enclosure, combining six USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, dual HDMI outputs and a Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port for stable network access. Its vertical form factor on a stand secures the unit when plugging and unplugging cables and the ventilated housing supports convective heat dissipation for reliable operation. Compatible with a broad input voltage range (100–240 V) and multiple operating systems including ChromeOS, it fits varied work setups.
Place the docking station on its stand in an upright position on a stable surface. Connect the dock to your notebook using the USB-C host cable, then attach external displays to the HDMI ports and peripherals to the available USB Type-A ports. Plug the AC power adapter into the dock and a mains outlet to provide power and enable full functionality. For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port.
Ensure adequate airflow around the upright docking station by leaving space above and below the vents. Use the provided AC adapter rated for 100–240 V and connect only supported devices. When hot environments or heavy workloads are expected, avoid blocking ventilation slots to maintain convective cooling.
