Garden solenoid valve RainPoint EVD100 DC 1 inch is an electrically operated irrigation valve designed to control water flow in low-flow garden and greenhouse systems. It uses a 12V DC solenoid for remote or automated on/off control and includes a manual switch and flow adjustment for easy setup and testing. The valve body is made of glass fiber reinforced nylon and uses an EPDM rubber diaphragm, making it compatible with domestic water and diluted soluble fertilizers and resistant to mechanical and chemical wear.
The RainPoint EVD100 supports a wide flow range from 0.05 to 9 m³/h and a pressure range of 0.5–8 bar, allowing use in simple and more complex irrigation layouts. The device tolerates liquid temperatures up to 60°C and features low power consumption with an operating voltage of DC 12V ±10% (9–15V) and a control pulse shorter than 100 ms, which enables connecting multiple valves in parallel with minimal energy use. Its fiberglass-reinforced nylon housing and EPDM membrane provide durability, chemical resistance and protection against cavitation.
Install the RainPoint EVD100 in the irrigation line following the flow direction indicated on the valve body and ensure secure 1" connections. Connect the solenoid to a compatible 12V DC power supply or irrigation controller, observing the specified voltage range. Use the manual switch and flow control knob to test the valve and adjust the flow before commissioning the full system. For systems with multiple valves, wire them according to the controller’s output specifications and verify pulse width compatibility.
Use clean water or properly diluted soluble fertilizers only. Avoid exposing the valve to liquids above 60°C. Periodically inspect the valve, diaphragm and connections for leaks or wear, and follow standard electrical safety practices when connecting the 12V DC solenoid.
