Patch Cable CAT5e U/UTP RB-LAN 2 m RJ-45 to RJ-45, 1000 Mbit/s, yellow
RB-LAN Patch Cable CAT5e U/UTP, 2 m, yellow, is a prewired Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends designed for fast and stable network connections. The cable conforms to the Cat5e standard and supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s, making it suitable for Gigabit Ethernet links between devices such as switches, routers, patch panels and networked computers. The cable uses copper-clad aluminium conductors with aluminium/copper plated contacts and a PVC jacket with strain relief to protect the connector area.
This Cat5e U/UTP patch cable provides reliable signal transmission for home and small office networks thanks to high-quality inner conductors and precisely fitted RJ-45 plugs. Latch protection on the connectors reduces the risk of latch breakage or snagging, while bend protection and a robust outer sheath improve mechanical durability. The cable’s slimline overmould indicates its 2 m length, helping with cable management and identification in patch panels and switch cabinets.
Insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port of the devices you want to connect, ensuring the latch clicks into place. Use the cable to link routers, switches, patch panels and networked devices for wired connectivity. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strain on the connector ends; the integrated strain relief reduces stress but standard cable-care practices should still be observed. The cable is ready to use without additional configuration.
For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. For permanent installations in racks or conduits, allow service loops and avoid tight bends to preserve the conductor integrity and maintain stable Gigabit speeds.
