RB-LAN Cat5e RB-LAN F/UTP patch cable, 2 m, with RJ45 connectors on both ends and gold-plated contacts. The cable conforms to the Cat5e standard and supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. It uses F/UTP (foil‑shielded twisted pair) construction to reduce external electromagnetic interference and ensure reliable signal transmission for Ethernet patching in offices, server racks and home networks where shielded cabling is preferred.
The foil shielding (F/UTP) minimises crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity over the cable run. Gold‑plated contacts on the RJ45 plugs enhance contact reliability and resist corrosion. A slim overmoulded strain relief with latch protection reduces stress at the connector and helps prevent latch breakage during handling. Built to Cat5e performance, the cable supports Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s for typical LAN applications.
Connect one RJ45 plug to the network port of a router, switch or patch panel and the other plug to the target device such as a PC, NAS or access point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a stable physical connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile stress on the cable; maintain gentle curves and secure cable runs with appropriate clips or cable management in racks and along walls.
Use this shielded Cat5e cable for short to medium length links in environments with potential electromagnetic interference or where grounded shielding is part of the cabling strategy.
