How to use

Place the switch on a stable surface or mount it according to available hardware. Connect the external power adapter to the switch and plug it into a standard mains outlet. Use standard Ethernet cables to connect devices to the switch ports; the switch will automatically detect link speed and duplex. There is no configuration required—connected devices will obtain network access through the switch once links are established. Monitor the front-panel LEDs to verify link status and activity for each port.

Usage recommendations

Install the switch in a dry, well-ventilated area and avoid covering ventilation openings to maintain passive cooling. Use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables to ensure stable Gigabit links and reduce electromagnetic interference. For installations with many PoE devices, verify power requirements and use a dedicated PoE-capable solution if powering devices over Ethernet is needed, as this unmanaged model does not supply PoE.
