Network patch cable Retoo Cat5e UTP bulk spool 305 m
Network patch cable Retoo Cat5e UTP bulk spool 305 m
Retoo Cat5e UTP bulk network cable on a 305 m spool is a flexible, unshielded twisted-pair cable designed for Ethernet and LAN installations. The cable supports Cat5e performance up to 100 MHz and is suitable for 100BASE-TX networks and short-run Gigabit Ethernet links. Supplied on a 305 m spool, this cable is intended for structured cabling projects, patching work, and general horizontal or backbone runs in homes, offices and data closets.
The Retoo Cat5e UTP cable provides consistent electrical characteristics for reliable data transmission and reduced crosstalk compared with untwisted conductors. Delivered on a full 305 m spool, it reduces the need for multiple shorter reels and simplifies long cable pulls. Its Cat5e specification allows for common Ethernet deployments while remaining cost-effective for large installations.
This unshielded Cat5e cable is not intended for environments with high electromagnetic interference where shielded cable would be required. For long-distance Gigabit Ethernet runs beyond the effective short-run range, Cat6 or higher-rated cable may be preferable. The cable on a bulk spool requires termination with connectors or patch panels before use.
Plan the cable route and measure required lengths, then unspool the cable carefully to avoid kinking. Terminate cable ends with compatible RJ45 connectors or punch down into compatible patch panels and keystone jacks following T568A or T568B wiring standards. Use appropriate cable management such as cable ties and trunking to secure runs, and test each terminated link with a cable tester to verify continuity, pair order, and performance.
For best results, store the spool on a dispenser or spool holder during installation to prevent twists and kinks. Use standard termination practices and test each link after installation to ensure reliable network performance.
