Rittal Blue e+
The Rittal Blue e+ is an energy-efficient cooling system designed for industrial enclosures. Constructed from steel with a grey finish and offering IP55 compatibility, this cabinet cooler suits environments that require protection against dust and water jets. It is available in a cabinet width of 450 mm, a depth of 393 mm and a height of 1600 mm, and uses hybrid technology combining speed-regulated components and heat pipe elements to reduce energy consumption.
Hybrid technology provides substantial energy savings—on average around 75%—by combining variable-speed components with heat-pipe heat transfer. The unit supports a unique multi-voltage capability for use in diverse electrical systems worldwide. Operation is simplified via an intuitive touch display, and the device shares an identical mounting cut-out across four output categories, allowing flexible installation options (external mounting, partial internal mounting and full internal mounting).
The Rittal Blue e+ is designed for enclosure cooling and may not be appropriate for general-purpose room air conditioning or for enclosures that require protection ratings higher than IP55. It is also not intended for applications where product dimensions (450 mm width, 393 mm depth, 1600 mm height) or the specific cooling capacity (5800 W for the listed wall-mounted unit) do not match the thermal or spatial requirements.
Mount the unit according to the selected installation mode (external, partial internal or full internal) using the standard cut-out shared across output categories. Connect the electrical supply, taking advantage of the device's multi-voltage capability if required, and configure operating parameters via the touch display. Regularly check airflow paths and filter condition (if applicable) and follow manufacturer maintenance intervals to ensure consistent cooling performance and energy efficiency.
