Garden wheelbarrow Robi R980, galvanized lightweight tray, 70 L capacity
Robi R980 is a galvanized garden wheelbarrow with a lightweight steel tray and a 70-litre capacity. Designed to transport soil, compost, plants and garden waste, the wheelbarrow combines corrosion-resistant galvanization with a compact, easy-to-handle construction. Its balanced frame and single wheel make it suitable for maneuvering in beds, paths and small yards while reducing the effort required for common gardening tasks.
The tray is galvanized to resist rust and extend service life in outdoor conditions. A 70 L capacity provides ample space for soil, mulch and plant material while keeping the overall footprint compact. The lightweight steel tray and tubular frame allow easier lifting and pushing compared with heavier all-steel models. A single front wheel and balanced handle placement improve maneuverability on uneven surfaces and in narrow garden passages.
Position the wheelbarrow close to the load, tilt the tray slightly forward and slide or shovel material into the tray until reaching a manageable weight. Lift using both handles, keeping your back straight and using leg muscles to reduce strain. Push the wheelbarrow with controlled, even steps; when turning or navigating uneven ground, reduce speed and shift weight slightly over the wheel for stability. After use, empty the tray by tilting it forward and allow any wet material to drain before storage to limit moisture retention on the metal surface.
For longer life, rinse off abrasive soil and remove organic residues after each use, and store the wheelbarrow in a covered area to minimise prolonged exposure to wet conditions. Do not overload beyond a weight you can safely control; distribute material evenly in the tray to maintain balance and ease of movement.
