USB-C Hub RoGer RO-8IN1 — 8-in-1 with USB-C PD and HDMI
USB-C Hub RoGer RO-8IN1 — 8-in-1 with USB-C PD and HDMI
RoGer RO-8IN1 expands a single USB-C port into multiple useful interfaces for laptops and tablets. This compact 8-in-1 hub integrates HDMI video output, two USB 3.0 ports, PD passthrough via a USB-C female port, an upstream USB-C male connector, SD and TF card readers, and an RJ45 Ethernet port to provide additional connectivity for peripherals, external displays and power delivery.
The hub supports HDMI output up to 4K×2K (3840×2160) at 60 Hz and is downward compatible with 1080p and 720p. Two USB 3.0 ports provide high-speed data transfer up to 5 Gb/s with device power supply up to 4.5 W per port. The USB-C female PD port accepts up to 20 V at 3 A (supporting a maximum 60 W PD input as specified; device notes mention support for up to 87 W power adapters but actual delivered power depends on host and adapter). The upstream USB-C male connector is compatible with Thunderbolt 3 hosts when the host port follows USB 3.0/3.1 specifications. SD and TF card slots can operate simultaneously; transfer speeds depend on the inserted cards. The RJ45 port provides wired network connectivity with a maximum speed of 100 Mbps. The hub includes an internal conversion chipset compliant with USB-C interface specifications.
Connect the USB-C male plug of the RoGer RO-8IN1 to a compatible USB-C port on your laptop or tablet. If you need to charge your host device while using other ports, connect a USB-C PD power adapter to the hub’s USB-C female PD port. Attach an HDMI cable from the hub to an external monitor and select the appropriate display input on the monitor. Insert SD or TF cards into the respective slots for file access, and plug USB devices or Ethernet cable into the corresponding ports. Ensure the host port supports the required USB specifications for full functionality.
Use a host USB-C port that supports data and video (USB 3.0/3.1 or Thunderbolt 3 where applicable). For best HDMI performance at 4K@60Hz, use high-quality HDMI cables and a compatible display. Card transfer speeds and Ethernet throughput depend on the cards and network conditions.
