PoE adapter ROLINE 21.13.1202
The ROLINE Gigabit PoE Injector (model 21.13.1202) supplies power and data over a single Ethernet cable for devices such as surveillance cameras, wireless access points, bridges and routers. It supports Gigabit Ethernet data rates (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) and is compliant with IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at standards. With an output voltage range of 45–57 V and a total PoE budget of 90 W, the compact adapter (85 × 73 × 24 mm) eliminates the need for a separate power supply on connected devices.
The adapter provides simultaneous power and data transmission over standard Ethernet cabling, simplifying installation and reducing cabling requirements. Compliance with IEEE 802.3af/at ensures compatibility with a wide range of PoE-powered devices. Its 90 W PoE budget and 45–57 V output voltage enable deployment of multiple mid- to high-power devices, while the compact housing and lightweight design (0.278 kg) allow flexible mounting in constrained spaces.
Connect the injector between your network switch and the PoE-capable device: plug the network uplink into the injector’s data input port and connect the device to the PoE output port using a standard Ethernet cable. Ensure the connected device supports IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at. Power the injector from mains according to the product’s power adapter instructions (use the manufacturer-supplied power cable or a compatible replacement). Verify link and power indicators on the device and on the powered equipment to confirm operation.
Use shielded or high-quality Cat5e/Cat6 cabling for reliable Gigabit performance and keep total cable runs within standard Ethernet limits (100 m) to maintain power and data integrity. Distribute the 90 W PoE budget according to the power requirements of connected devices to avoid overloading the injector.
