ROLINE S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.5e 0.5 m is a shielded patch cable for networking connections between devices. The cable uses a prepared double-shielded twisted pair construction with screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends, 4-pair stranded copper conductors and complete braid shielding with aluminium-clad polyester foil. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology and allows data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. The grey colour and compact 0.5 m length make it suitable for short connections in structured cabling systems.

Advantages

The S/FTP design provides enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference through individual pair shielding and overall braid shielding. Gold-plated contacts on high-quality RJ-45 plugs ensure reliable contact and reduced oxidation. The moulded kink protection increases connector durability while the flexible cable jacket allows narrow bending radii for use in confined spaces. Contact pinout is wired 1:1 in accordance with the EIA/TIA 568 standard.
