ROLINE Cat6a networking cable 1.5 m, U/UTP (UTP), RJ-45 — Grey
ROLINE Cat6a networking cable 1.5 m with RJ-45 connectors in grey is a shield-free U/UTP (commonly referred to as UTP) patch cable designed to meet Cat6a performance requirements. With a 1.5 metre length and standard RJ-45 plugs on both ends, this cable supports high-speed Ethernet links and provides a reliable physical connection between network devices in offices, home networks and data center patching.
The cable is built to Cat6a specifications to support higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, enabling stable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections at short to medium distances. U/UTP (UTP) construction keeps the cable flexible and easy to route while maintaining signal integrity for typical structured cabling environments. The grey outer jacket provides neutral aesthetics for visible runs and simplifies identification in mixed-cable installations.
Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your network devices until the connector latch clicks into place. Use the 1.5 m length for short connections such as between a switch and a nearby server, workstation or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated and cables are not sharply bent at the termination points. For managed installations, label both ends to match your port numbering or rack documentation.
Route the cable avoiding sources of electrical interference and excessive mechanical stress. Maintain proper bend radius and secure with cable management accessories to preserve performance. For environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider using shielded cabling variants if required by local site conditions.
