Network patch cable ROLINE Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) White 1.5 m RJ-45 10 Gbps
ROLINE Cat6a S/FTP (S-STP) White 1.5 m is a network patch cable designed for high-speed wired connections. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a length of 1.5 metres, this cable supports 10 Gbps data transmission and meets Cat6a performance requirements. The design includes individual foil shielding around each twisted pair plus an overall braided shield to minimise crosstalk and external EMI, making it suitable for structured cabling in office, server rack and home network environments.
The cable provides stable 10 Gbps throughput over short runs and improved signal integrity thanks to S/FTP (S-STP) shielding. Contacts on the RJ-45 plugs are nickel/gold plated to ensure reliable mating and corrosion resistance. The white jacket offers a neutral appearance for visible installations and helps with colour-coordinated cable management. Construction and shielding reduce susceptibility to electromagnetic interference from adjacent cables and equipment.
Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, patch panel or device and the other connector into the corresponding port at the destination. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Use the cable for horizontal patching, short interconnects in racks, or device connections where a 1.5 m length is appropriate. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and maintain recommended bend radius for Cat6a cables to preserve performance.
For optimal performance, route the cable away from high-voltage power lines and strong EMI sources. Use cable management such as patch panels and cable ties to prevent strain on connectors. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices; for 10 Gbit/s operation, ensure both endpoints and intermediate hardware support the required standard.
