Networking cable ROLINE 21.15.4473 Cat6a U/UTP (UTP) White 3 m RJ-45–RJ-45
ROLINE 21.15.4473 is a 3 m Cat6a U/UTP (UTP) Ethernet patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over copper in short to medium runs. The cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor set in an unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) arrangement and is finished in a white jacket. Molded kink protection at each connector and slim, flexible construction allow neat routing in office environments, cable trays and patch panels while maintaining contact settings 1:1 according to the EIA/TIA 568 standard.
This Cat6a cable supports higher bandwidths and reduced crosstalk compared to lower category patch cords, making it suitable for demanding local network links. The unshielded U/UTP design provides reliable signal transmission for typical office and data-closet environments without the need for additional shielding. Its slim, flexible jacket and molded strain relief simplify installation in confined spaces and help protect the RJ-45 plugs from mechanical stress.
Insert each RJ-45 plug into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks; ensure correct port orientation before applying force. Use the cable for direct device-to-device connections such as switch-to-switch, switch-to-patch-panel or switch-to-router links. Route the cable to avoid tight bending radii and sharp edges; the slim jacket allows passage through cable management channels and behind furniture. Test the link after installation using network diagnostics or a cable tester to verify continuity and performance at the intended speed.
For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel alongside high-voltage power lines for extended distances and maintain recommended bend radius to prevent conductor deformation. Use in typical office and data-closet environments; for installations requiring additional electromagnetic shielding or outdoor exposure, select an appropriately rated shielded or weatherproof cable.
