ROLINE 21.15.8640 is a 0.5 m fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends (LC–LC). It uses OS2 singlemode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and supports full-duplex transmission. The yellow jacket identifies singlemode fibre; typical uses include high-speed data links, InfiniBand or storage networking and short interconnects in racks and patch panels.

duplex connector, the design is more compact and only one cable is used for two
