ROLINE 21.15.8651 is a 1 m LC‑to‑LC uniboot fibre optic patch cable in OM4 multimode quality designed for high‑density, high‑performance network installations. The compact uniboot design combines two fibres into a single, space‑saving jacket and supports full duplex transmission. The cable jacket is made from low smoke, zero halogen (LSZH/LSFRZH) material and the violet colour provides easy visual identification in patching environments. This cable is suitable for data centre links, backbone runs and equipment interconnects where OM4 performance is required.
The OM4 multimode fibres and precision LC connectors offer low insertion loss and stable signal transmission at high bandwidths, supporting 10 Gbit/s Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications over typical OM4 distances. The uniboot construction reduces connector footprint, simplifies cable management in high‑density panels and allows polarity changes without special tools. The LSZH jacket improves safety in enclosed spaces by reducing smoke and halogen emissions in the event of fire.
Route the uniboot LC/LC cable between the appropriate transceivers, patch panel ports or equipment interfaces, ensuring connector endfaces are clean before insertion. Align the LC connectors with the adapter or transceiver openings and insert until a positive click is felt. If polarity change is required, adjust the uniboot connector orientation following standard polarity procedures; no special tools are needed. Avoid tight bends near the connector ends; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibres during installation.
