It uses laser-optimized OM4 multimode fiber (50 µm) with extended bandwidth to support current 1 and 10 Gbit/s applications and future 40 and 100 Gbit/s systems. The cable comes with LC and ST connectors and a length of 5 meters, suitable for short- and medium-reach connections in data centers, building backbones and campus networks.

Advantages

OM4 fiber provides a high modal bandwidth (4700 MHz·km) that exceeds IEEE requirements for extended 10 Gbit/s reach, allowing up to 550 meters at 10 Gbit/s and supporting 300 meters at 40 Gbit/s. As a duplex 50/125 µm jumper with quality connectors and controlled assembly, the cable offers low insertion loss and low reflection for reliable signal transmission.
